Understanding Pseudogynecomastia and Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is a medical term used for describing a man’s chest, which appears expanded or fatty. But, every man having a woman like a breast does not have Gynecomastia, others have a condition called pseudogynecomastia. Though both look conditions look similar, they actually are different from each other. Let us get to understanding both of them:

Understanding Pseudogynecomastia

The main cause of chest enlargement is fat as against tissue fat. The fat is stored around the nipple area.

Treating Pseudogynecomastia

The treatment which calls for Pseudogynecomastia is weight loss. As soon as body weight is lost, the chest also gets smaller. Many men resort to lifestyle change( like changing diet, and beginning to exercise) for losing the weight. Others think that wearing squeezed clothing will help them in looking thinner. But, in spite of making so many changed still their weight remains the same and doesn’t seem to transform even to a little bit.
Liposuction is used in treating the stubborn fatty layers. In case loose skin is also present in the body, a part of the skin will also need to be reduced. During the treatment, the stoma is made to be equal to the newly developed chest.

Understanding Gynecomastia

The main difference between the two is major of the type of tissue which causes the breasts to look expanded. In the case of Gynecomastia, the chest area of the male has extra glandular tissue. glandular tissue is firmer along with being more muscular than fatty tissue. No matter how much you detox or go on a diet, spend extra time exercising or make other modifications in lifestyle. It will not at all be of any help.
The main cause of this to occur lies in a hormonal disturbance.

Treating Gynecomastia

The treatment which doctor recommend patients to take for Gynecomastia is male breast reducing surgery. During gynecomastia surgery in Andhra Pradesh surgeons use extraction tool methods for removing secretory organs.

So by now, you must have understood that both are similar yet different. At the same time, you must have known the differences between the two.
